About the event
Looking for a creative way to enrich your teen's spring break? This class is designed specifically for students ages 13-18 who can maintain focus for 30 minutes or more at a time and can be trusted with high-quality materials requiring extra care.
This series presents the perfect opportunity for your emerging artist to explore oil painting in a relaxed, supportive setting—without the usual rush of schoolwork and extracurriculars. Session 4 will focus on portraiture, offering students a steady and thorough investigation of the forms and structures of the face as relates to light, value, and shadow. Participants will build confidence with this traditional medium while receiving plenty of guidance, with ample time to ask questions and explore.
