About the event
This workshop will be held at Rebecca Woodward's teaching studio, just a 10-minute drive from Bloomington Fine Art Supply.
The workshop will begin with a demonstration by Rebecca, and continue as she assists each guest in the creation of their own, individual still-life collection of objects. With subject matter in place, guests will engage in a color-mixing exercise based on the Zorn Palette, constructing a swatched value scale specific to their composition. Once guests have completed their color palette overview, they will embark on capturing their subject matter on Gessobord. After a catered lunch, guests will continue refining their work with individual guidance and instruction from Rebecca. Before the session's conclusion, the class will have an opportunity to reflect on their works collectively and individually.
